Let us recontract existing contracts:
If I get a contract from a character and want to contract this stuff to another character, I want to be able to click "Recontract" and get immediately to the contract setup window where I can enter the new/next recipient. The contract is then accepted into a buffer and immediately recreated as a new contract to the next recipient. I don't need to go to my assets and find the stuff (in the worst case have to wait 5 minutes because of asset delay) and set up a new contract from there. |

It's probably already been asked for, but once again doesn't hurt:
Courier contracts need to have a way too look inside to see what you are going to transport before you are going to transport it.
You see contract contents in Item Exchanges and Auctions, you can cargo scan ships and objects and can look into containers/cargoholds/plastic wraps - so there is no real reason not to be able to look into plastic wraps in the contract window. Unless posted in one of the respective channels and talked about/have linked a appraisal - and even then -. Courier contracts are usually a lottery and contractors have no way to figure out whether the contract is a legit contract or a scam (unless very obviously leading to certain systems) until it is too late. Putting haulers into such a huge unfair position should not be accepted any longer.
To leapfrog the outcry of the scammers and trappers out there: these activities are not made impossible with giving Courier takers the opportunity to see what they transport; it is merely put in line with the difficulty demanded from the haulers by the scammers and trappers. We should put a lot of effort into keeping our tools safe, and so should they in setting up their scams and traps - they need to put in effort and creativity and not just empty cans. |

Something I would also like to see decoupled from one another is the filters, in particular the range selection filter. I very often look for contracts (Item Exchange and Auctions) in the entire universe, ie. I leave the setting on All Regions or Current Region; but when I do Courier contracts I only look up a specific system or constellation and leave the setting to Current Constellation or Current System. As it is now, I constantly have to adjust these settings, which is unnecessarily cumbersome. |

I'd love this, so I could go have a nosy round to see who's going to be trading what from where, long before it actually gets on the market.
All has advantages and disadvantages. If you want to pay 10M* for the peek and not get it back (you only get it back when you complete the courier) every time you want to spy on other user's market plans, you are free to do so.

Really? Pampering players who don't know how to use the market? They made their choice to not look up the value of their stuff and put this kind of thing in the open world. And if you undercollateralized your contract by accident, you have plenty of time to cancel it as you don't have to wait 5 minutes like on the market.
This is, in hindsight, certainly 1 use for it but not the only use. Undercollateralized contracts are already easy to find now; this would just create a short lived surge and then all of them are gone. |

That, as a bare minimum.
Also, in regards to normal Item Exchanges; I would like to see how many cubic meters of stuff I have in an Item Exchange without having to rely on 3rd party programs or websites. |

I cannot remember having read that yet, correct my if I am wrong...
Give us the option to add an additional note to failed contracts so that other people who check contract histories can comprehend why a contract failed. This is particularly interesting for courier contracts and would make scams and traps harder.
Currently you have to laboriously check killboards for losses on that particular day. With a comment added to a contract, which can contain a simple remark "ganked" or a link to a killmail, this could be made a lot easier and more intuitive. |

Can we have bigger security level indicators in front of the system names? The small dot is kinda ... small and the bigger rectangle that you also have in the Route part would be better. |

I just noticed this behavior again and this should really be changed.
Currently, every page in the Available contracts window seems to be a separate search, which results in that you have the best contract (eg. on page 1 the best reward of 200M) on top and the worst at the bottom, on page 2 you have the same (another 150M on top and the worst 500k at the bottom), on page 3 the same (a 100M on top, 500k at the bottom). This is all the more obvious when you search for contracts (Courier contracts in particular) across the entire universe.
This is highly confusing and absolutely unintuitive. Instead of this page split, the best contracts should be on the first pages and the worse somewhere at the end. I can understand that his results in low payment contracts never being seen in this particular search setting, but honestly, a Courier for 10k/jump should incinerate and burn to ashes by itself.
--
Another thing that I also recently noticed concerns more filter and route settings, which also has been mentioned before.
Basically, for courier contracts I would like to be able to set parameters to search CCs going from a particular security level to another.
For instance: I want to do some Low sec to High sec/High sec to Low sec runs. Currently I don't have any feasible way to search for this particular travel setting. I can only search for CCs in Low sec and High sec, which results in a massive list of contracts and the above mentioned problem.
But I would appreciate if I could tick some boxes to only search contracts that originate in Low or High sec and go to High or Low sec. |

I would like to have an Option "Current Empire" in addition to "Current Station/System/Region". With this option you could search for contracts located in a specific empire's regions. For instance, I am in Domain and want to see all contracts in regions controlled by the Amarr Empire, or I am in Immensea and want to see all contracts in the sovereignty space of Nulli Secunda.
Might not be as useful in 00 Sec, as Sov changes sort of regularly and NPC 00 sec is limited to 1 region anyways; however, since I do not overly care about these regions in space, for High sec it would be a great help. |

Can we please get the ability to enter number values smaller than 1 million for Price (Buy & Sell) and Reward and Collateral (Courier) in the contract filters?
It is commendable that CCP wants to force people this way to give proper payment for contracts, the player base vehemently stems itself against that force.
Also, in the same regard, I would like to have a filter option where I can limit the contract search to a specific amount of ISK per jump. Here the ability to enter numbers smaller than 1M is especially important because even more players don't want to pay properly. While I very much like to only do CCs with 1M reward/jump, the reality forces me to also accept those with lower payment to get a living from it. |

So, in light of the currently proposed changes to freighters I demand the implementation of a functionality to view the contents of Courier contracts. It will probably be a ****** implementation with more drawbacks than benefits, but I absolutely detest having to find out that I transport massively over-collaterized ganking ships and utility to gankers after I accepted the contract. I don't see why I should help gankers even more with transporting their garbage and be a gank target on the route at the same time.
I want to know what I transport before I accept the transport. Simple. |

This is particularly interesting for CCs, but I think also other contract types could benefit from it:
I want to have an expandable section when I click on the "show route" link and actually see the route in a glance fashion just like the autopilot route view. If I then still want to view the route on the map, I can access that via another link within this expandable section.
Fancy picture to illustrate.
Benefits are obvious: Since you are unable to set filters to exclude contracts, especially CCs with 00/Low sec on the route, you currently have to set route to find that out. This information, in my opinion however, should be included and be visible in the contract window itself. Determining the destination/pickup station type should also be quicker, which is achieved by this |

Make the "Show Contracts" option available in the contract window itself. In order to see a contract history now, I have to open the character info window and click on the top left corner. This option should also be available in the contract window itself, along with the other options in when you click on the 3 lines in the bottom left corner.

TheSmokingHertog wrote:Money Makin Mitch wrote:relist expired contract button pls Do you know you can copy contracts from the contract history overview?
That doesn't really work. When I try to copy a contract, the contract system tries to scrape every part of the contract from my item hangar, even though the items were fitted on ships or stored in cans. That makes it impractical to use, because you have to find and checkbox the desired items in the item list anyways. |

*drags the topic back to page 1*
Currently, you can only set the Security Filters to
High | Low | Null
As it is well known, there are inherent differences between Sovereignty Null sec and NPC Null sec regions/constellations, most notably the lack of docking rights in most Sov 00 regions for neutrals.
As I like to do Courier Contracts which involve more adventurous approaches, I have to either untick Null completely and skip NPC 00 contracts or sift through a number of Sov 00 contracts to find some that go to space I can access. Therefore, I would like to see the option in the Security Filters to differentiate between the two states of 00 Sec, as displayed in the gorgeous mock up.
This removes unnecessary work load from the players who want to delve into that part of the game and it would also provide another opportunity for your tool tips to appear and shine by briefly explaining the differences between Sov and NPC 00 Sec.

I want to be able to search for items in the My Contracts tab. Currently it is a nightmare to find something in that list if you do dozens or hundreds of contracts per month. A search field can't be too much to ask for. |

- I want to see the description of a contract in the contract list with the search results. I don't know how many people do this but I use the doctrine plus some additional info in all my alliance contracts to make it easier for the members to find the right ship in case we have several fittings for a particular ship.
- With that regard I would also like to see the description in the actual contract window be more pronounced and catchier.
- And with regards to the list again, I would like to be able to change the order of the columns.

Can we please have the useless [Multiple Items] replaced with the text from the "Description (optional)" text box in the contracts search results? I do not care at all about the Multiple Items information, I want to know what I am buying without having to open dozens of contracts to find out. Alliances, for instance, offer alliance contracts with ships of the same type but different fittings, like T1 and T2 fittings. I put into the descriptions what kind of fitting it is and I would like to see that in the search results. If there's nothing in the Description field, the standard [Multiple Items] can be displayed. |

I would also like to see a kind-of subscription list for contracts. Instead of having to constantly juggle around with the clumsy contracts UI, I would like to have a list/fancy window where I can see at a glance new public contracts (CCs in particular) from certain people without having to mess with the contract search settings. |

Can CCP please change the wording on the notifications when completing delivering a Courier Contract?
Currently it says:
"Deliver Courier Package" in the right click menu. "Really Complete" in the warning notification. "Crate Delivered" in the final completion notification. (Technically, I would also add the "Complete" button in the contract window itself to it, but who uses this button anyways? For the sake of comprehensiveness, this button should also read "Deliver", as we do deliver something to somewhere.)
This inconsistency between Deliver - Complete - Deliver causes me every time to look at it two, three, six times in panic to absolutely make sure that it says complete and not trash or cancel/fail. Instead, I would like to see the warning notification say "Really Deliver" in order to have a smooth flow of words, which does not interrupt your clicking path and perception when you do it right but jumps to your eyes and rips them out of the holes, throwing them at your your soon to happen fail when you do it wrong. |

Can we please have savable contract setting presets? I use a very specific set of settings every day and have to enter the filter/settings data every time I use them, which is very tiresome. Instead, I want to save a particular filter setting and have the ability to select it from a drop down menu.
Note: I do not want to have the automatic storage of filters like in the "Location" drop down menu, but the ability to save filters myself and select them myself from a drop down menu. This should accompany my previous feature request of an overview page with subscriptions to see contracts from particular players/corps/alliances.
